BACKGROUND

Since 2017, the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama has planned an annual benchmarking trip for West Alabama’s business leaders, elected officials, and community members to visit another community with similar demographics to learn about its successes and bring those ideas back to West Alabama. The 2023 trip was to Raleigh, North Carolina. Take a look below at some of the pieces I designed for this trip to the oak city.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

All pieces I created feature the same colors and fonts for branding purposes. I designed 100% of each piece aside from the four ads in the resource guide (book). The nametags are set to match the front cover of the resource guide (book) and have the full agenda on the back. Sponsor attendees also have a special “sponsor” label at the bottom of their nametags to emulate VIP status compared to regular nametags without the sponsor label. For the sponsor banner, using white logos for each company makes for a cleaner look rather than using the original colors of each logo. I also created testimonials for social media to recruit attendees to get registered. I created matching Facebook posts and Instagram/Facebook stories for each testimonial.
