BACKGROUND

Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF) is an annual two-day festival at Government Plaza in Downtown Tuscaloosa. DCAF aims to provide a quality arts and music festival while educating, engaging, and inspiring youth and adults about the arts and humanities within the Tuscaloosa community.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

The digital sign for the City’s TV screens throughout City Hall and the flyer feature general event information like date(s), time(s), and location. The presenting sponsor’s logo is almost always required for any event graphic. I used a photo taken the year before and added a colorful overlay to give the effect of a painting to go with the art theme of the festival.
